➵ SHIPPING Nicky has a canonical soulmate whose love transcends time, so running up against that will be difficult. That said, half of the game he's in is about sex, so I'm not opposed to playing out smut and delving into fuck-or-die and dubcon mechanics, but please know that, regardless of whether or not Joe is in game, Nicky's first priority will always be him. In terms of shipping itself, Nicky is gay, so m/m only.

➵ FIGHTING & INJURING Always up for it, but please note that Nicky is an incredibly skilled fighter who's honed his abilities (both melee and long-distance) over almost a thousand years. He is very hard to beat in a fight, and even if you do overpower him, he's immortal. Fighting him is as much a time commitment as anything else. He's also quite difficult to provoke into a fight – he's not necessarily violent by nature, and would rather use words than fists, so if you successfully push him to drawing a sword, good luck.

➵ MAGIC & POWERS Sure! Nicky will probably be quite interested in other people's abilities.

➵ CONTENT WARNINGS It's important to acknowledge up front that, although Nicky is currently a perfectly tolerant, kind, and selfless person, he met the love of his life – a Muslim man – while taking part in one of the Crusades. At the time, he was motivated by racism and islamophobia. It has been a long process of unlearning this hatred for him, and he's unrecognisable from the man he was when he took part in the Crusade. References to this behaviour may come up, but only in terms of someone's ability to make genuine effort to change. That being said, if you're uncomfortable with this aspect of his backstory, you're welcome to opt out to whatever degree you'd be comfortable with, no hard feelings. ➵ BACKTAGGING Always – I function by backtagging, so I totally understand if things get picked up and dropped here and there. I'm also happy to handwave stuff that drags on for too long.
